NUDITY A COMMON TREND IN ABUJA FASHION

Fashion as it is fondly called is a popular style or practice, especially in clothing and accessories. In Nigeria I can boldly say that fashion trends varies amongst people depending on what one perceives as fashion. The term ‘Swag’ has been used over time to express one’s style of fashion, the question is, what is your swag? What are the basics that define fashion as an entity? To answer these questions I will like to state that fashion as an entity goes pari passu with culture, weather and time.  For instance the Eskimos live in very cold temperate regions and wear protective coats to keep them warm, and mini’s can be worn in summer to keep cool in London. What about Abuja? Abuja is blessed with a beautiful weather, be it cold or hot, there are fashion outfits designed for different weather conditions.  It is heart breaking to note that nudity has become a modern trend amongst Abuja young women. As the saying goes one should be dressed in a manner they want to be addressed. Who says nudity is a part of fashion.  Nudity in the African culture is a taboo, yes it is! It has become a common trend amongst Abuja ladies, and is fast taking a hold of their fashion sense. Just very few young women want to wear knee length skirts and blouses that cover the cleavage. Exposing the body does not scream sexy. There are ways to be covered and still have that hot, sexy look we all crave. I would like to suggest a few tips to help you dress in a manner that one won’t classify you as a nudist category, tips to help you look sexy, classy and beautiful 1.    When you expose cleavage, do not expose your thighs. Exposing top and bottom makes you look naked. If you expose your cleavage, make sure your dress covers your thighs to avoid looking nude 2.    Do save all the micro minis and dresses for parties and club nights. Try to know which dress can be worn on the street for a casual walk and what one should be saved  for night outs with your girlfriends 3.    If you are PHAT please try to wear dresses your size, no one wants to see stomach folds and stretch marks around your leg areas. It is wise to cover up most part of your skin to give you a slimmer look. 4.    If your legs are fuller inside try a side slit, if your legs are fuller outside try a mid-front or back slit is a better choice to show off beautiful legs. 5.    A slim V-neck makes the neck appear longer and is usually very friendly, boat necks are great for minimizing waist and hips while maximizing sexy shoulders 6.    Bright areas brings attention to  an area, make sure you wear them wisely on your most flattering body parts Make sure you try out your favorite outfits and always try to look gorgeous, but in doing that do not forget that nudity is not fashion. The more you cover up the more your femininity is appreciated.
