Martinez wants Moses for £8m
New Everton manager Roberto Martinez has identified Victor Moses of Chelsea as an £8m signing this summer having managed the forward at Wigan Athletic, reports the Daily Mail.
The 22-year-old played under Martinez for two-and-a-half years at the DW Stadium after joining from boyhood club Crystal Palace for £2.6m.
Moses was then snapped up by the Blues last summer in a £10.1m switch and went on to win the Europa League during his first season at the club.
However, it is unknown how the winger fits into returning boss Jose Mourinho’s plans at Stamford Bridge and the Nigeria international could find first team football hard to come by with Eden Hazard, Oscar and new signing Andre Schuerrle all playing in the same position.
Therefore Martinez wants to give Moses a get-out to Goodison Park and it’s believed that £8m would be enough to tempt Mourinho into selling the talented youngster.
Since arriving in west London less than 12 months ago, the forward has played 43 matches for Chelsea and scored 10 goals and provided five assists.
