Cristiano Ronaldo has set himself a 70-goal target for the 2013/2014 season, to surpass his best ever haul of 67, set in the 2011-12 season.
Ronaldo has been in flying form since beginning pre-season training, his hunger and enthusiasm plain for all to see, reports futaa.com.

Prolific
This is Cristiano Ronaldo's fifth pre-season at Real Madrid, with his most prolific so far coming two years ago (2011), when he scored seven times in eight appearances before going on to break all his personal records during the season proper.
This compares to 2009, when he notched three goals in nine fixtures; 2012, when he grabbed two in four, and 2010, when he registered just once in five games.
Ambition
Having had the whole summer off until now, Cristiano could well feature in all of Real's pre-season fixtures, just like he did in 2009 and 2011.
Carlo Ancelotti, meanwhile, has been so impressed by the Portuguese ace's ambition and constant drive to improve that he has encouraged the younger players in the squad to follow CR7's example as a model professional.
